I really want to wax poetic about my lovely visit with Ziza Bauer in Nashville, TN. We had the best time! But truthfully, I couldn’t do it justice. Like so many times before, you’ll just have to hear her friendly voice and thought-stirring words for yourself in next week’s podcast conversation. In the meantime, this is what you should know…

Ziza and her husband recently moved from LA to Nashville in pursuit of a rather local craft – whiskey distilling – which her husband is studying vigorously. Ziza, in addition to being a brilliant human being and, I can only imagine an equally brilliant writer, is also the director of digital content for Darling Magazine. I mean, stop there. I’m a huge fan of everything Darling does for positive female imagery, conversation and artistry!! And that’s precisely what we ended up talking about most of the time. How to participate in productive, kind conversation in this complicated world of multi social media, polarization and trigger language… Artistry and the crafts of days gone by… Female role models and socially conscious entrepreneurship. It was so good and so enriching.

But, before we get to all of that, take a tour through her thoughtfully edited, absolutely cozy Nashville home and wardrobe. I think you’ll get at least a sense for this lovely lady by way of her decorative choices at home.

I’m very jealous of our neat and tidy your place is! I think our house needs one big sweepero and then perhaps we can consider having a “style” that might be blog worthy. In the meantime I have to keep an eye out for random Legos from my boys and various special presents from our cats….. Thanks for sharing your style!
