They were made of a sturdy denim but lined in the softest, floral-patterned flannel. (My love for floral patterns runs deep.) At that time, overalls were hot and I felt super trendy. Fast forward 15 or so years and overalls are back! But this time, I’m not a pre-teen girl and my body shape is a lil’ different. Now, I know some gal pals that can pull off the look but I’ve never had an interest. That is until I came across this “jumper” dress with overall straps. Granted there not true overalls but my nostalgia got the best of me and I snatched them up.
Paired with a bright red lip, linen tee and Gaia Pom Pom bag, this is definitely an age-appropriate upgrade from my middle school dungarees!
