I like to think of myself as a ‘dress and skirt’ kind of girl, especially in the Summer. With my particularly androgynous haircut, I have more freedom than most to wear very feminine clothing. And yet, I don’t. Truth is, most days I err on the side of comfort and convenience and throw on my usual jeans and chambray shirt combo. But then I cam across this striped knit dress at Buffalo Exchange. It’s uber comfortable, practically a neutral (everyone knows stripes are the neutrals of the pattern world), easy to match and a cinch to wash. Watch out jeans and chambray! Your competition suddenly became real.
Have I mentioned that the neck scarf is the ultimate child-proof fashion accessory and my new sartorial obsession? I could wear one every day of the week and not feel bad about it once.
Next on my wardrobe to-do list… Learn the art of graceful toddler wrangling and effortless prop schlepping in said dress. Updates to come.
So, do you like to wear dresses in the Summertime? If so, where do you shop for them and what style have you found that suits you best?
