It’s weird seeing myself all over the blog like it has been recently… I much prefer to share the style of my fabulous guests and their homes. But I have to admit, I’m loving the process of planning and shooting these Daily Wears posts. That’s largely due to the collaborative help of my new friend Angie Garcia, the photographer for this series. I was tempted to delay this post until I could get another Style Story out (don’t worry, that’s coming soon) but my excitement over Angie’s images got the better of me.
So, here I am… on the blog again. Posin’. Dancin’. Playin’ with pattern and having a blast.
Did you listen to my interview with the gals of the Style Matters podcast last week? I talked with them about the creative exercise that getting dressed in the morning can be and this outfit is a great example. Putting together the patterns, colors, shapes and textures for this look was like a mini design project in and of itself. By the time I was done, I had a new energy for creativity! So, next time you find yourself in a creative rut, I recommend a little costume change. It’ll spruce up more than just your appearance.
