Earlier this week I talked about the value of a solid morning routine and how it can set the tone for the rest of your day. Can I tell you the hardest thing about a morning routine when you work from home? Just getting dressed. No, seriously! If I can get myself dressed – out of jammies, teeth brushed, hair and make-up done (ok, that last one might be pushing it) – the chances of my day being productive and successful are exponentially increased.
This outfit is an example of something I might wear if I have errands to run and people to see. It’s not your typical jeans, tee and tennis shoe kind of look but it’s no less comfortable or practical. The dress is soft and easy to move in, the boots are sturdy and walkable and the socks… well, the socks are just for fun. You know I have a thing for color! If I was staying at home, I might skip the jewelry and red lips but, other than that, it’s pretty much spot on.
What are you wearing these days? And how does it affect the way you experience your day?
