Pregnancy Style and House Pains

Dressing a pregnant body is a lot like decorating a new home so it’s only appropriate that I’m tackling both at once. Nothing quite fits like it used to. The lines and shapes are all different. And each new day is an exercise in re-imagination. When it comes to wardrobe, I’ve learned to focus on a few key things.

Redirection. (as in, fun accessories such as silk scarves worn wrapped around your head and redirecting attention from your still slightly awkward pregnancy fashion).

We’ll get there. In the meantime, here’s a peek at what has become a bit of a uniform. Stretchy pants that, when worn low enough, still somehow fit. Tunic-like layering pieces. Loose sweaters. Colorful accessories and my faithful workhorse ankle boots.

And the bump continues…

For those interested, below are the sources for some of the pieces in this outfit.
