Today I’m stepping even further outside of my normal routine to bring you an entirely new sort of Style Story – one that’s focused around fashion rather than interiors.

Please welcome Diamond Mahone, the dynamic blogger behind Diamond Janae and stylish shop girl at Ten Over Six. Diamond’s personal style epitomizes all that I imagine courage and authenticity would look like in a wardrobe. She dresses from the heart and isn’t held back by what other people might think of her. If you’re like me, you’re going to absolutely adore her bold mix of vintage and modern pieces, dramatic and sophisticated statements. We spent the afternoon together shopping local produce at the Dallas Farmer’s Market, scouring vintage treasures at Lula B’s in Deep Ellum, and talking about blogging and fashion back at her Southside apartment. Basically, it was the perfect girl hang.

Now, how’s that for a kick off to Summer fashion? Diamond has given me so many ideas to incorporate into my own wardrobe over the next few months – oversized earrings, maxi dresses, vintage, CULOTTES! Yes, I plan on being that girl. What can I say? It’s fun to have fun with fashion, especially when you have Diamond leading the way.

Come back this Friday to hear Diamond tell her story in her own voice. We covered the gamut of fashion and blogging topics and even touched on some time management discussions too.
