Whatya say?

To kick things off, how about a Style Story studio tour? Oh yeah! Well, as it so happens, I’ve got just the thing. Please welcome the multi-faceted, multi-talented, boundary-pushing, chic-making, dream-catching, vision-executing design firm SWOON [the studio]. Headed up by Sam Sano and Joslyn Taylor (remember these two from back in the Style Story day?), their team of designers creates anything from branding and identity to interiors and experiential installations. They’re much better at explaining just what all of that means, so I’ll leave any further explanations to this Friday’s podcast interview. In the meantime, feast your eyes on their wide open, light-filled Dallas studio, complete with vision boards, works in progress, sun-bleached design books, puppy dogs, and baby bouncers. Oh yes, and brass. Lots and lots of brass!

This space is beautiful! Often I find the all-white look to feel cold and harsh, but not this office. Maybe it’s the natural light or the way they’ve arranged their furniture, but the space feels very inviting. And inspiring! I feel like I’d get a lot done if I worked there. 🙂

Beautiful story. What a great place to work. I liked some of the items displayed. The gold star and the neat looking light bulb. It is great to see a work space on your blog.
