Be Brave… Try a New Color

Last week, I told the story of my friend Amanda and how she went out on a limb and employed the help of an interior stylist to recreate the look of her home. Along the way, she took a few risks, stepped out on some limbs, and try a few new colors. Namely, the creamy white color of her main living room. Funny as it sounds, that was completely out of her comfort zone.

So, inspired by her color risk-taking and the pretty pink shade of her home office, I decided to try a new color of my own. PINK! A color that I rarely gravitate towards but am learning to appreciate more and more. Of course, I had to make it my own. This pink rendition is a tad bit darker and a hint bolder. What do you think?

I have an unexpected lavender door in my house. It’s a big risk – and i LOVE IT!!! I have been surprised how other people have enjoyed it too.

Ooo!! A lavender front door? I LOVE that idea. It’s so fresh and unexpected. I seriously might just paint my next front door a pretty shade of purple. Enjoy it, Cindy! I think it’s a great way to branch out of your color comfort zone.

I love pink on you. Of course, you wore plenty of pink when you were little and had no control over what you wore.
