Aaron and Emily are one of a kind and their style is completely unique.

My first impulse is to start with the story of their courtship, which began in high school. They grew up just a few  miles from one another in Mabank, TX, fell in love, and married young. But then again, maybe I should start with the story of their shared enthusiasm for cars and mechanics. After all, they took their honeymoon on a hotrod power tour! That’s a pretty decent story opener. Of course, there’s Emily’s career as a world travelled model and Aaron’s growing ventures as an entrepreneur. And their juice focused lifestyle of healthy eating. The story of their home, a former slave house turned relocated rental property and eventual renovation project, is also pretty darn fascinating.

Yeah, I couldn’t decide where to start. It’s all just so cool! But perhaps my favorite part of their story has to do with their spontaneous, open-hearted, love-filled approach to life and people. It’s completely contagious. During my weekend stay with them a few weeks ago – which, by the way, included a late night dinner at a local winery and coffee in the hot tub on a frigid, drizzly morning – I saw first hand how they incorporate messages of joy and encouragement and love into their daily lives. You’ll have to wait for their interview to understand the specifics, but suffice it to say, they’ve made it apart of every element of their lives.

Follow me on a tour of their style below to get a first glimpse and then join us again on Friday for the rest of their story.

Maybe it’s just me, but Aaron and Emily’s positive outlook and warm, inviting spirits seem to just bleed through the computer screen, don’t you think? I love their quirky home.

Let it be noted that Friday’s interview is one not to miss. If you think their house is cool, just wait until you hear what they have to say about it!

And to add to the fun, here are a few pretties you can shop inspired by Emily and Aaron’s style:

I love their home and their style. I had the pleasure of meeting Emily a few years back at a friends house. She is one of the warmest, most inspiring people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. If there were more people in this world like Emily & Aaron, this world would be a better place.
