It’s surprising how helpful it is to know that we’re not alone in our daily struggles. As pretty as the lives’ of others may seem, we’re all going through challenges and hurdles of our own. My recent Style Story guest Samantha Stewart has experienced an especially significant life change in the past few months that has brought with it an entirely new set of challenges. That change came in the form or a precious little boy that she and her husband recently adopted.
Without a doubt, that has been a huge blessing to their lives! In today’s post, Samantha shares a few of the life changes since the arrival of her baby boy that she’s been experiencing lately.

One huge challenge is time management. I used to THINK I was busy! Now with a baby, I realize that I had all the time in the world! Another challenge has been prioritizing baby, husband, work, blog, and life in general. Lastly, organization in my closet has been a disaster! It’s horrific to even get dressed because things are everywhere!
How have you managed each of those challenges? Haha! That’s a good one! I am working on all three at the same time but haven’t quite “overcome” them yet. I’ve learned that it’s okay to ask for help!
What three things are you especially grateful for these days (both big and small)? I am grateful that we were able to adopt – the baby is a huge blessing in our life! I am also lucky and blessed to have such loving and supportive friends and family. And finally, I am grateful to have the blog – it’s a great creative outlet (if I have a chance to work on it) and I’ve met so MANY wonderful people through the blogging community!
Thank you so very much, Sam, for sharing with us!
