Seems I’ve been a busy gal recently!
Towards the end of 2013 I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Monica Lee of the webshow, Smart Creative Women. I discovered Monica through the Altitude Summit blog and quickly learned that we had a lot more than a blog in common. Monica interviews women from various realms of the creative business world and uses their stories to suss out lessons on business, money, creativity, career paths, and much more. Not too dissimilar from what I do over on the Our Style Stories podcast, eh? Through the course of our conversation, we talked about my educational background, how I came to the work that I do now, building a brand online, and my biggest money lesson. An interesting watch if you’re curious about any one of these things.
In addition, Monica shared a bit about her upcoming course for creative business women called Smart Creative Style. The tagline “Find your style, Get down to business” really struck a chord with me and I think many of you might be interested in it as well. Monica has a great talent in uncovering the common threads within a person’s background, hobbies, interests, style, and business practices. With the beginning of a new year well under way, this may be the perfect time for a little style/business/brand brainstorming.
To learn more about her course, watch the trailer below.
Registration for the course opens next Wednesday, January 15th. And as a special insider scoop, Monica is also unveiling a very special offer which you, my dear readers, are the first to become savvy of! Be the first of 15 to sign up for the course on Wednesday and receive a special 45 min coaching session along with the course. Not bad, if you ask me. Who knows… maybe you’ll see me in the class too!
