To give you some quick context, Chantal is a makeup artist and Greg is a personal stylist at Nordstrom. They’re native Texans and high school sweethearts now living in East Dallas with their Beagle-Boston Terrier mix rescue, Lucy.
Of course, it comes as no surprise that Greg and Chantal have created a lovely home in their mid-century ranch house. From the sounds of it, the house was in sore need of curb appeal and personalization when they purchased it. Never one’s to sit around and wait, Greg and Chantal immediately set to work doing what they love best, home improvement projects and vintage furniture shopping! Three years later and it’s a charming work in progress, now full of vintage treasures and second hand goodies collected from their travels and shopping tours. In addition to their vintage scores, industrial furniture pieces built by Greg – a New Year’s resolution turned growing side business – can now be found scattered around the house. Character and personal touch abound!
And there you have it. A house, a couple, a dog, and a big heart for travel, vintage furniture, carpentry, and unique style. Stay-tuned for their interview later this week where I’ll dig more into Greg and Chantal’s side projects, how they balance work and life, and their take on cultivating interesting personal style.
