But she’s also incredibly giving. Do you remember what she does for a living? She’s the design and production manager for WORN, a socially conscious accessory line through Catholic Charities Fort Worth. I partnered with them last Summer and blogged about it (here and here) on Hilary Inspired. Then, again this Spring, I styled the fashions for their Fall/Winter collection photo shoot. (by the way, I’ve been exploring styling as a new career venture lately. what a fascinating world! more on that later).
I couldn’t have asked for a more creative, collaborative team to work with at WORN. Molly, Kristen, Abbi, and of course those gorgeous models, Alex and Annalise. Those ladies combined with some truly beautiful designs, and we came away with stunning imagery. So, to celebrate the beginning of September and the oncoming of Fall, I thought I would share a few behind-the-scenes snaps from our shoot. Haven’t you always wondered what a photo shoot looks like from the inside? Well, this is it!
Ahh, and those colors!! Deep, rich, earthy. The clothes too… Those were provided by Bess & Evie’s, a favorite vintage boutique here in Fort Worth. Will this Texas Summer ever end? I’m so ready to clad myself in nubby wool and saturated accessories.
If you’re in the Fort Worth area, join me also at a trunk show at Bess & Evie’s this Thursday featuring WORN’s Fall collection. We’ll be swooning over each and every design and day dreaming about our favorite WORN + vintage pairings. Pretty much the perfect way to kick start September. I so hope to see you there!
But if you’re not able to join us, at least take a moment to browse their Fall/Winter collection. It’s fashion with a cause… my favorite kind of business.
All of the above…
