Life Changes and Weekend Events

I hit the big 2-7 this past weekend, friends. It wasn’t the most mind-blowing occasion in terms of life changes. But what it lacked in milestones, it had in sweet memories and joyful gatherings.

My parents and youngest brother where in town and we, along with my middle brother, his wife, and David, shared several delicious meals and heart-warming conversations together over the course of the weekend. We managed not to pull anyone’s hair out, didn’t totally break the bank, and left each other happier than we were found! Win. win. win.

Meanwhile over in Our-Style-Stories-land, things were quiet. But I’m back at it on Monday with more stylish stories and interviews. Over the next couple weeks, I’ll be traveling to Austin to speak at the Texas Style Council conference, resurrecting a few style stories from the archive, and photographing some super cool folks for upcoming features while down South. Keep your eyes peeled on Instagram and Twitter for updates along the way.

Happy weekend everyone!

Haha! I know, it’s all about perspective, right? This is new for me so I’m still getting used to the idea of being in my late twenties. If its anything like my early twenties, I’m sure it will be interesting!
